The Cochrane Movie House is the perfect place to host a private screening.
Enjoy a movie on the big screen in an auditorium all to yourselves.

We do require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
The cost is per movie per cinema, and the payment is due on the day of the screening.
Any additional concession, catering or beverage service cost are in addition to theatre rental cost.

The concession will be open for your guests
to purchase any snacks and drinks.
The most popular
booking times
Saturday or Sunday Mornings
9:00am - 12:00pm
Due to certain peak operating hours, the theatre is available outside of regular operating hours this being during the day on Monday through Friday and previous to any matinee on Saturday and Sunday and holidays.
Events are held most successfully during the morning time slots. This gives you enough time to greet your guests, get seated, and purchase snacks, with the movie starting at 10am. As the theatres are closed to the public during this time, it lends for a very special private event impression.

We can play the movie for you in cinema 1
which can hold up to 177 people.
Friday Afternoons
3:00pm - 6:00pm

Fundraisers
Your group will be responsible for providing and selling the tickets, also have one or two people at the entrance to the theatre on the day of the screening to check tickets. We will have the concession open for your guests to purchase any snacks they would like.
The release dates listed are those published by the movie distributors and are subject to change.
The Cochrane Movie House attempts to secure rights to present movies on their release date but
this cannot be guaranteed.
